• Yes, I use it on my lower back and can vary the depth of the massage by placing pressure backwards into the chair.

• Yes, you can use this on lower, middle and upper back. Using it on your back while sitting on a chair is the best use for it in my opinion.

• Yes, I use it on my lower back. It also has a strap to go around the charge to kind of keep it in place. Keep in mind, though, that the nodes protrude so you might not be able to sit back against the chair while you have it on the lower back. Your upper back will not connect to the chair. It kind of sits you forward if that makes sense.
