The vent line expands from about 12” to maybe 4 feet from the window.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The unit will have to be fairly close to a window, as the tube Provided is only 6 feet long. It’s very easy to go to someplace like Home Depot and buy a longer 10 to 16 foot hose if you want to move the unit further towards the middle of a room. I bought a longer length hose but returned it b/c the 6 foot hose that came with the unit was totally adequate for cooling the space I need to cool. By the way, an extension hose costs between 10 and $16 at Home Depot. You may be able to pick up one at Best Buy if you don’t want to make an extra trip.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.About 30 inches or so. Just make sure it is getting good air flow. You will know by the performance also dont crimp the hose if you can help it. The less restrictive the better.
