No. It wouldn’t fit in a box if pre-installed. The exhaust ducting is high quality and expandable. It, and the window attachment were of high quality and easy to install. The expandable window attachment will work with almost any kind of windows and was well made and also easy to install. Everything fit together securely and easily.

My son originally helped attach the hose, but he just showed me how easy it is to slide it into position and then lock it in place with 1 easy turn of a locking dial. We put ours out through a sliding glass door, and my son made a hole through a tall Styrofoam panel -(it could be plywood) - but for security we place a bar/pole in the track, to the side of the sliding glass door (to prevent unwanted entry.) Overall, we are extremely pleased with the efficiency and cool air we are getting.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, hose is not connected. It’s easy to connect both ends. Follow the manual illustration. You screw on both ends. One end goes to cooler, other end to plate, it snappes on to plate for the window.

It's easy to put together, and the window board is adjustable for width. It comes with nothing to seal in the window with. I bought black foam sheathing (for copper pipes), wrapped the edge with it, and that's working just fine as a seal. Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The hose is assembled but not connected when you open the box. It's very easy to connect by lining up and twisting against the unit. It took about 3 minutes to setup (after waiting for it to be upright for an hour).
