“I have sliding windows and when I installed the window kit there are a lot of gaps. I closed the window and now I'm not sure what to do about it. There are gaps around the hose and gaps on the side. What can I get to close these gaps?”

We put duct tape around the hose and window and foam insulation for doors can help too

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I assume you placed the vent mount vertically so that when you close the window it closes completely against the length of the vent mount. The vent itself snaps into place so make sure it is completely snapped all the way around then depending how high the window is from the where the A/C unit is you might want to provide the exhaust tube some support either a board from the floor or a hangar from the ceiling.
