is this self evaporative or do you have to drain it? null

Hello Jenie ! Our portable air conditioners work on self evaporation and do not need to be drained unless operating in extremely humid conditions. All instructions to drain the unit are given in the product manual, in an event when the water tank gets full. You have to drain it. Easy to do- my 80 year old mother was able to do it.
