You need an opening to exhaust the hot air. I use a window. It comes with a adjustable bracket for the hose. You will need to insulate the window yourself around the bracket.

Please try again later.Per another site: This portable air conditioner comes with everything needed including a flexible exhaust hose and an easy-to-install window venting kit. The window vent can be removed when the unit is not in use. I believe they don't show a exhaust hose because it's low on the unit.
