Can you stop & start oscillation with the remote? null

Sorry, no the remote doesn't have an oscillating option

No, oscillation is manual. You have to press/pull up the knob on top of the fan to oscillate. You use the remote only to turn the fan on/off, adjust fan speed and set the timer.

Remote controls off/on, fan speed, and timer, not oscillation.
