Using it in a 700 square foot room will allow the unit to provide around 3.5 air exchanges per hour. • Hi, Evie, It's only rated for a 500sq ft room, my filter on turbo, has no problem with my 650 sq ft living room room. I would not hesitate recommending this air filter for 700sq ft. Hope that helps, Don
