“How does this HPA5300B model differ from the HPA-300 model? They appear to be almost identical.”

• I’ve had it for a month. Supposedly it filters a larger square foot area - 500 sq. ft. This unit has an automatic setting that senses air quality and runs at the appropriate fan speed. On the 300 you have to manually select a fan speed. Nice convenience.
