• It doesn’t cool the air. This fan doesn’t replace A/C but it definitely helps circulate the cool air so you can set the thermostat higher.

• No—these are simply fans that circulate air at a high speed, not air conditioners. They are very efficient and quickly cool down a room. Hope this helps.
