• Well the 5 would be your timer signalling 5 hours run time. It is also a thermostat controlled. So if the temperature in your room is up to the set temp on the radiator heater it'll shut itself off automatically. Which is what you want.. now if your room is still cold and it's turning itself off without getting the room up to temp.. then there might be something wrong with it

• Number 5 maybe the heat setting. Check to see if you also have the timer on.
