I don't think "Continuous Run" is an option, it's always on an auto-shutoff mode. When I first got my unit, I was turning the fan-button and moisture-button down to the lowest settings, and in a few minutes (usually) the fan shut off temporarily, my little test to see if it would auto-shutoff when it reaches the desired balance in the room. My house has a wood burning stove so it's pretty dry in here, the unit runs 95% of the time. But occasionally i'll notice it shut off for a little while when the room reaches a balance. But it took about the first two weeks of 'humidifying' before the unit ever did that on its own, i guess it took that long for moisture to sink in to the room and allow those shutoff periods.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine fan continues to run even if the water tank is empty. I think that is because it is also an air cleaner and that is what it is doing all the time. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the LEDs showing the preset humidity 'set' level are lit, it's in Auto shut-off mode. If they're off, the unit runs continuously. Typically, the unit will revert to 'continuous' mode after refilling the reservoir.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This particular model does not have an auto-off switch. It does run continuously, even when low on water. You do have to monitor it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A) I sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Once a humidity level is selected on the top bar the unit will only run on the humidistat mode. If you would like to the have the unit run continuously select one of the fan settings and do not use the top bar. If you are using the humidistat mode and want to switch to continuous mode you will have to shut off the unit and turn it back on. I hope this information is helpful!
