A:AnswerYou need to make sure you have a vapor barrier installed wall to wall and make sure all of your foundation vents are sealed up tight. Otherwise you will be drawing in moisture from outside into your crawl space.
A:AnswerI have a 40 foot hose on mine. just make sure you have a slope to the hose, if it lies flat then the water will pool and mold will grow. I used foam pipe insulation of varying thicknesses that i could staple to 2x4's to hold the hose straight and with a 1/4" per foot slope. That is probably more precise than i needed to be but I am an engineer ;-). The whole set up works great in a large basement. if you have a height confined space, make sure you can vent the exhaust from the unit somewhere. The exhaust is warm and still has humidity to it (albeit lower than when you started) so it could form mold on a ceiling if it doesn't blow towards an opening.
A:AnswerI have the same question since my unit's fan does not seem to ever shut off. The compressor cycles to maintain the humidity set point but the fan continues to run.
So, Question is: Shouldn't the fan cycle off soon after the compressor cycles off.????
A:AnswerTP Series. It's not listed in the choices on the app, at least for me. At the top it says "add manually" & "Auto Scan". Turn the unit on & do the auto scan & it will pick up the unit.
A:AnswerIf you shut it off manually wait a few seconds to allow water still in the system but not yet in the tank to empty. You can probably hear the remaining water dripping into the tank. Then remove the tank carefully and empty it.
A:AnswerAccording to honeywellstore.com which is a registered URL for honeywell.com (you can verify here: https://lookup.icann.org/lookup)

A:AnswerDid you look at the booklet that came with it in the troubleshooting area? Did you go to the manufacturers website and try to find an answer? Did you try going onto YouTube and type in the problem in with the make and model of your dehumidifier? Did you try to Google the problem with the make and model of your product?
