does this unit remove cigarette odor & residual? null

Don’t have a clue but we don’t smoke. Seems to work fine otherwise but we have only had it 2 weeks

This includes; pollen, VOCs, odors, pet dander, mold spores and fungi, dust, smoke, and certain bacteria and virus. The way that this air purifier works is a fan draws the surrounding air in towards the unit, and the air passed through the filters, which trap most of the particulates in the air. Unfortunately, if any particles lands on the walls or furniture before it reaches the unit, it will not be able to remove these particles. We hope this information is helpful.
