Thank you for your inquiry Bob. Hon high, this unit uses 1500 watts and draws on 12.5 amps. On low, it will use 900 watts and draw about 7.5 amps. Please note, for the unit to function, it will require access to 1500 watts and 12.5 amps. If the unit looses access to that power, even when being used on low, it will shut down to prevent a power surge or overdraw.
