• A:Answer I’d say that It is safe to use on the carpet while you warm the area up. But I would not recommend doing so for very long periods of time unattended . (All day) I use mine on the carpet all the time while I’m present in the area. Never had a problem.

Q: QuestionHello-my heater cut off after I relocated it. I slid it across the floor. The heater is now unresponsive to any buttons I press. It is not working in any outlet I try. The lights blink and a red light flashes when I press the red underfoot.

• A:Answer I can only say that the heaters cuts off when picked up; I guess related to the auto shutoff for falls. When that happens, pressing the power button to restart has worked every time.

• A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry Bob. Hon high, this unit uses 1500 watts and draws on 12.5 amps. On low, it will use 900 watts and draw about 7.5 amps. Please note, for the unit to function, it will require access to 1500 watts and 12.5 amps. If the unit looses access to that power, even when being used on low, it will shut down to prevent a power surge or overdraw.
