- Answer I've used it on my upholstery. It depends on your type of upholstery. Read manufacturer details on your chairs. Use your judgement on type of material :) You can try a white sponge with baby shampoo or a soft cleaning brush. Don't soak your chairs and use a fan to dry them, if no machine. Again, just depends on the type of material. Best of luck!
