- Answer Hi! You should've received a charging base in the package when vacuum was purchased. Sit the battery on charging base and make sure the charger is plugged in. When battery is fully charged the blue LED light will shut off. Battery will take 3 hours to fully charge. Hope this helps! -Giselle Hoover Customer Care

- Answer Hi! The most noticeable difference that you'll find is that Series 1.0 does not have a headlight or include any tools. Series 3.0 has the headlight feature and includes some tools but it will vary between certain models. The tools can be ordered separately in a kit from Hoover.com. QuestionI purchased this vacuum last week and received today. I was super excited but it doesn't roll. My thumb hurts from trying to push the button over and over. I only need the dang thing for my center shag carpet. It starts to spin then just stops spinning.

- Answer Yes, you might have a problem with long shag carpet. I know I have longer nap rugs in my bathroom, so I lift the sweeper up a little while I push it back and forth. Sorry about that.

- Answer Hi Rogbarb! The tools can be attached to the wand by pressing the handle release lever or directly to the hose by unclipping the hose from where it connects to the base. The Air Cordless will come with a hard floor brushroll and crevice dusting tool. - Answer It does have a way to reconnect the intake hose and use it as a wand, but i am 5'2" and trying to clear ceiling corners with this configuration is cumbersome, at best
