A:AnswerYes, you could use this to extract, however we only recommend using this on carpets, rugs and upholstery that are wet cleanable. You can use it to spot clean as well as a full home cleaner, and if you don't wish to deep clean and only extract you would just fill with water and not add solution. The hose and tool will suction without adding water without pulling the trigger and you can pull back the full cleaner without engaging the trigger to suction as well.
