Hey Diann, Thank you for your question! Pet hair is always a troublesome cleaning challenge. One way to reduce clogs is to groom your pets regularly to reduce the amount of hair shed by them. Then after grooming use the hose to suck up the hair. This will reduce the volume of hair and the load on the vacuum and consequently reduce the chances of clogging. If you feel your vacuum is clogging quickly or easily, you may need to clean your filter. The vacuum filter should be cleaned regularly, and when dirty it can be the cause of a loss of suction which leads to more clogs. Then, ensure the hose, brushes, and nozzle are free of any debris that may be caught at the joints and inlets. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You gotta unscrew the plastic cover that is protecting the roll and simply clean the roll and the hose suctioning from the roll. Having a metal hanger and stickin up the hose by the roller helps get all the clogged up hair dirt n dust
