• No, there is no switch to turn of the rotating bar, and even on the floor setting it still spins.

• Nope. I just looked at it and it does not cut off even if you adjust the floor type.

• There is no separate setting, so I would say no (not without voiding the warranty).

• Raise the cleaning head using the adjuster dial. You cannot turn off the brush.

• Yes, but you can not change the beater bar belt yourself! It requires a certified repair shop, specialized tools and removing, usually replacing, the clutch just to change a dang belt! It also has NO SIDE SUCTION! I kid you not! A standard feature on even the cheapest vacuums!
