lift the filter from the top by pulling up on the clear tab locater on top side of filter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is easy. Remove the filter unit, Lift up on the filter latch on top of the canister, and there is a piece of filter material you pinch and lift up. Mine I prefer to use the old vac to clean it. Until order a replacement filter that I can switch in and out (should not be wet) will continue doing it this way.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here are the instructions from my booklet: - Remove dirt cup from vacuum. - Pull up on dirt cup latch to open (which is just below the "Hoover" word on my vacuum that is near the top of the dirt cup). - Pull on the fabric tab on filter to remove Rinsable Filter. - Hold filter under running water for two minutes to remove dirt and debris. Squeeze filter twice while underwater. Remove from water and squeeze a final time to remove excess water. - Allow filter to dry completely before replacing. Dry filter on edge so air circulates on both sides of filter. This may take up to 24 hours. - Replace filter, tab side out. - Close lid securely by pushing until it clicks, - Replace dirt cap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unlatch the container
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Remove dirt cup. Top latch flips lid up. Filter pulls out. For the hepa filter - lower frame under the cord slides out
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The filter is inside the top above the bagless canister. You will have to pull it out, like you do when you empty the canister. You will see where it says Reusable filter and a tab underneath this. Push up on the tab and it should open easily. The filter is the blue round thing. Pull it out and wash it. Let it dry for 24 hours. You may want to buy a spare if you can.
