• There is a clear plastic cylinder on the front that is easily detached The bottom part of it contains the dirt, which is released directly into the trash can when you press a button You don't even get dirty like many other models. Easy to use

• It goes into a cannister you have to empty into the garbage. bagless just means you don't have to deal with buying vaccum bags and changing them.
