You might need a new belt. Have you first checked to ensure the "Floor" setting rather than "Hose" and then press the roller "ON" foot-lever a couple of times to make sure it is engaged. Probably so but have to ask. It's like asking if you're sure the Television is plugged in when it won't turn on. Anyway, if the Floor setting is selected and the roller "ON" lever is engaged, the lay it on the floor or a sturdy table. Using a Philips (cross-point) screwdriver, remove the seven (I think) screws holding the silver metal plate on the bottom of the vacuum; it will then lift off. Check to see if the belt seems to be in one piece. It should be even if it is badly worn but check anyway. You might also see lots of black particles around the belt areas which means it has been stopped from moving and is shredding itself. If everything is okay so far, then remove the roller bar. Seems hard but it isn't - using just a bit of sideways pressure, you release the metal attachments at either end of the roller bar and it will lift out of the bottom. You might find there is a lot of thread or string wrapped around it and that might be preventing the roller bar from moving even if the belt is trying. Seems like a lot of work but it's easier than it sounds. If nothing is obvious, then I'm afraid you need to find a vacuum repair shop. Second part of your question: I can't recall the belt style number. If you go to where they sell your vacuum with the name/style of your vacuum, they will likely be able to sell you the correct belt. There aren't too many belt styles for the upright Wind Tunnels, but don't just grab one off the rack without asking. Even better, if you have the manual that came with your vacuum, it likely will tell the belt identifier to look for.
