No. Unfortunately you can only use this product in handheld mode. You can't play with them while docked but it does fit so you can charge your switch without having to take them off.

My experience is that they are unpowered. I.E. they don't work if they aren't connected to the Switch directly.

No wireless play. They have no battery inside and must be attached to the tablet to work. They pull power from it and may shorten your battery span.
