“why does the lint trap not catch the lint?? I have to pull the dryer away from the wall after every cycle to clear the exterior lint trap because the one inside the dryer doesn't actually catch it all. Its heavy, and i hate it”

Ensure that you are using 4” round duct. Larger ducts reduce the air velocity and increases lint deposits on the inside of the ducting.
