A: Ensure that you are using 4” round duct. Larger ducts reduce the air velocity and increases lint deposits on the inside of the ducting. We also recommend searching for the article titled “Dryers Excessive Lint” on our GE Appliances website in the Support section for guidance. If those tips don’t help, we recommend scheduling service online by visiting the GE Appliances website or by calling 1-800-432-2737.

Q: How does the drum belt go on?
A: Good day, Thanks for your question. The drum belt is placed on at assembly. We don't recommend trying to remove it to perform any self repairs or diagnosis as it can void the warranty. If you are having issues with the dryer drum belt, please be sure to call for service. You can do so by calling 800-432-2737. Wishing you well. Mike@GEA
Q: Can the door open to the left instead of opening to the right
A: Hello- Thank you for contacting us with your question! Yes, this model does have the option to change the door swing side. That information can be found on page 17 of the use and care manual on the website. We hope this helps! Please let us know if we can help with anything else in the future. Sincerely- Dianna@GEA
A: Hello- Thanks so much for your purchase. This is a really nice dryer, but it does have a Fixed End-of-Cycle Signal. We can understand your desire to reduce the signal volume, however it does have a "fixed" signal and the volume cannot be adjusted. It will buzz automatically at the end of the cycle and once the timer moves to the OFF position, it will automatically shut off. It can be disconnected but only by a technician which wouldn't be covered the warranty. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA
Q: Why does my buzzer go off b4 it's done n then again when it's done
A: Hey there, and thanks for contacting us! The end-of-cycle signal is meant to alert you when the load is done, so the clothes can be removed before wrinkles set in. The dryer is designed to buzz multiple times, just to ensure you’re aware the cycle is ending. We hope this helps to clarify the matter, and if you have any other concerns or questions we’re glad to offer assistance any time. All the best! -Sarah@GEA
