A:AnswerI had the same problem with mine. Turn the volume down. Does it work now? I took the whole thing apart and took the speaker out and there was a wire pinched I didn't even splice and fix it I just got the wire in the spot it was suppose to be in when I put the plastic cover back on and now it's fine. Pretty loud too they have it engineered very well

A:AnswerI use a laptop (cable) lock and wrap it around the rear wheel frame and a bike rack.
I suppose that someone with a bolt cutter could cut the wire and steal my scooter. So far that hasn't happened to me. (I engraved my name on the scooter just in case.)
