Yes, I have both hoverboards and this one definitely a tighter platform. However, riding takes practice and following the directions.

Falling as you’re learning to ride a hoverboard is very common, knee and elbow pads are recommended for initial learning - I got this for my daughter for her 8th birthday and she haD it figured out in 15 minutes.
