Right out of the owners manual: Do not operate the device if it has been exposed to water, moisture or any other liquids to prevent against electric shock, explosion and/or injury to yourself and damage to the device. It also states to store it in a dry location.

Don’t submerge it, don’t ride in rain, don’t ride through puddles, don’t wash, don’t hose off. Nothing. I haven’t tested any of these since it’s kind of pricey as far as scooters go. But according to Hover-1 the answer is NO!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It isn't terrible on wet pavement but the battery / charging port sit very low and there is just a small rubber stopper for the port. Do not attempt to ride this through standing water.
