My son is 15 and almost 6 foot. He loves taking it to do errands for me since he can’t drive yet. I rode it to the bank. Super fun!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the child's abilities. Our youngest is 6 and she rides it without fear. She can barely see over the handle bars. In all fairness she started on a razor electric before this one so she learned on a smaller electric scooter. The thumb levers on this scooter are easier for little ones to use than a twist throttle and traditional hand brake on other models. You can adjust the speed of this one just don't let the kids see how you do it. It's not hard to figure out on their own but it bought us 30-45 minutes of time so they got used to it on 1 instesd of 3. They are pretty fast. I'm 225 lbs and it was reading 14mph with my fat butt riding it. The headlights work great on them and overall this was a great purchase for the kids.
