A:AnswerReal-world comparison between HP and Dell -- both comparable models with touch panel displays --
Battery life for this unit is really good. My son uses it primarily to watch YouTube and Twitch video. That can be hard on the battery, but he typically gets 5-6 hours of use before having to either shut it down and put it on the charger or just run it while power is plugged in. This is the first HP Chromebook we have used. We have 3 other Dell units that we purchased in the past. I can tell you that the battery life on this unit (although its still fairly new) greatly exceeds the battery life of the Dells that we used previously.
A:AnswerThank you for the question. Yes, you can use a Chromebook offline, but you'll need to configure it. See how here: https://www.chrmbook.com/no-wifi-2/
A:AnswerHello. Thanks for your question. No. This HP Chromebook has an eMMC for storage. Embedded Multimedia Card or eMMC is a more affordable and slower Flash-based storage than solid-state drives. eMMC is usually found in smartphones and other consumer electronics devices but is rarely used in personal computers. In everyday use, the performance of eMMC storage is somewhere between the speed of HDDs and SSDs.
A:AnswerHi Erica, thank you for the question. The HP 11a-na0060nr Chromebook can only run Google Chrome operating system and it can not run Windows operating system.
A:AnswerNo. Any tablet or laptop( not sure there are any laptops) that can take a sim card will be much more expensive, as it needs to be able to send and receive data from cell towers.
