“How's the text size? Not small I hope? Can it be adjusted by pressing Ctrl while scrolling wheel on mouse or press Ctrl and tap + key? Is there any other way to enlarge text?”

There is an Ease of Access feature. It can help you turn on the screen narration and screen magnifier (ADA help). See: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/177893?hl=en
