A:AnswerYes it comes with WordPad, the built in Windows word processor. It is a good solid one for most people.
If you need a word processor with good formatting, this is all you need.
No need to buy Microsoft Word.
An even more basic Windows text editor is Notepad.
Both WordPad & Notepad have come free with all Windows versions for years.
Just search for either one within Windows.

A:AnswerYou can play limited games on this laptop like flash games. This is not a gaming laptop. Games like Minecraft and Fortnight have high system requirements and require a dedicated Graphics Processing Unit(GPU) I recommend a gaming laptop with a GPU for serious gaming.
A:AnswerThere seems to be some confusion on this laptop with HP support. They say it has only one RAM slot but I bought this computer two months ago and it has two slots. The first two reviews on this laptop show the same thing. I have upgraded mine to 16GB(2x8GB) as shown in the attached picture. It originally had one stick of 4GB RAM installed.
A:AnswerYou can transfer the data but may not be able to use the same programs since this is a Windows 10 computer. I had alot of the older Windows Vista and XP compatible versions of my programs--was not really able to use them. Had to get the newer versions or get support for the compatibility. Check Geek Squad. They could look at your computers and transfer the data so you don't lose anything. (Make sure you do a backup of your computer and possibly a system image of your old computer before you let anyone touch it. Learned the hard way.)
