A:AnswerThis computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements to play ARK: Survival Evolved. The game requires a better processor like Intel Core i5-8400 or better; a discrete graphics card like the AMD Radeon RX580 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti and at least 8 gigabytes of RAM.
A:Answerit has wifi n, old stuff.
$20 WiFi 6 (AX) card on Amazon, easy access to it by removing the back panel with a small screwdriver.
Can upgrade RAM cards to 2x8gb while in there.
That's what I did, and I don't much about computers.
A:AnswerIt doesn't appear to have a slot for adding a second SSD, so you'll need to replace the existing one with a higher capacity and transferring all your files over. A PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD will work. Which one you will want to get will depend on how much capacity you want and your budget.
A:AnswerUnfortunately, this is not a good forum for trying to troubleshoot issues. Your best bet would be to contact the HP support team for assistance.
A:AnswerI had the same unpleasant surprise when setting up mine. From what I could find out from HP, you need to buy a USB WiFi adapter. About $20 give or take. Not happy that a brand new laptop can not work on 5 Ghz signal out of the box.

A:AnswerThis laptop currently has PCIe NVMe M.2 solid state drive installed. You can upgrade it if you replace it with the same format and with more storage than what is currently installed.
A:AnswerThis laptop does not have a SATA hard drive. So, there is SATA cable in this laptop. If you are trying to convert the PCIe solid state drive to a SATA hard drive then that would require an adapter. You would need M.2 SSD to 2.5" SATA Hard Disk Converter Drive Adapter. If you are just trying to access old files, you could put the SATA hard drive into a USB hard drive enclosure. Then plug the hard drive enclosure into one of the USB ports on the laptop.
