This laptop has a 64 bit version of Windows 10s. You can easily take it out of s mode (google "switching out of s mode" and follow the easy instructions). After you switch out, the laptop HAS Windows 10 Home already installed, so you would not have to install Windows 10 again. The cpu in this laptop is not quite an Intel I3 equivalent, but is plenty satisfactory for most uses (email, web surfing, word processing, powerpoint, spreadsheets, light gaming, etc.).
