• A:Answer Because this computer is running Windows in "S Mode" it can only download and run apps that are in the Windows Store. Unfortunately, the store does not have a Quickbooks app available, so you wouldn't be able to download and run it.

• A:Answer Because this computer is running Windows in "S Mode" it can only download and run apps that are in the Windows Store. Fortunately, the Zoom app is available in the store. You can also use the web-based version of Zoom, which will work fine on the computer

• A:Answer once you attempt to install anything that is either not pre-installed or you could get from the Microsoft store (eg, Chrome browser), you'll have the option to permanently opt out of S mode. this is irreversible.

If the call center requires you to use a specific program (and not just a web-based app) you'll need to see if it is available for download from the store. If you don't need a specific program, it should be fine for that kind of use.

• A:Answer unfortunately, no. these modern designs usually don't include that anymore. but an external cd/dvd drive (also called external optical drive) could cater to your needs. it's not built-in but it'll be connected most likely via one of the usb type A ports (ie, the rectangle one and and the smaller rounded ones that are usb type C). Retailers such as Best Buy offers these.
