Would this be good to stream tv shows from..? null

My experience shows that yes. Wireless n on the laptop/phone is more than enough to stream 1080p video. I have a Linksys ac router with 40 Mbps from my provider using at home 4 computers (3 ac and one n) and 4 phones (3 ac and one n) and never have I seen any issues with streaming movies over wifi on wireless ac or n, even before I updated my computers and phones to include ac.

Yes, this computer would work well for streaming shows!

No because it doesn't have a dual band wifi adapter so networking is SLoW. I had to buy an adapter for my granddaughter. You ducked a bullet with this one.
