You won't notice any difference for native run programs that do not require internet connectivity. This computer does lack the 5G network capability which is newer, faster, technology that also has a shorter range. Most, if not all, wireless routers currently on the market have dual band, so this PC can connect to one band network but not the other. Higher end PCs have dual band WiFi capability.

However, most consumer electronics run on 2.4 anyhow, and many people do not utilize 5.0 GHz networks at all. Our budget line of laptops often have this type of wireless connectivity, whereas our premium laptops have dual-band capability.
