It comes in S mode, but it takes about 5 minutes, if you're slow, to take it out of S mode, including looking up the answer. Google something like "take Windows out of S mode" to get the instructions.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it comes set in Windows 10 Home S Mode. You can easily turn S Mode off, but it is a one way switch. You can not switch S Mode back on. I prefer S Mode for the added speed and security and I can get along "locked" to apps from the official Microsoft store.
