Battery life is always iffy, since it depends on specific circumstances. How many programs are open? What are you doing on your computer (streaming, downloading, editing video, typing a letter, etc.)? What is the brightness level set to? How old is the battery? What charge level are you starting with? How warm is the room (warmer means more fan activity)? And more. I once compared two MSI laptops on Best Buy and one was rated at one hour, the other at 41! I sincerely doubt there could be that much difference between two similar laptops by the same manufacturer. If you are really interested in this factor, search reviews for the model; there, the circumstances are given for any tests, and they are consistent between models.
