• All previous answers are incorrect. I have this and it upgraded to 16gb of RAM and the ram is super easy to access. You take 1 screw out of the easy access panel and there you have access to the wifi card and the 2 ram slots, couldn't be easier. The hard drive is another story, that requires taking the whole thing apart to get to under the top cover. See my uploaded picture of the easy access panel with 1 screw.

• There is only one DIMM installed so the 2nd slot is available. However if you watch a teardown video on youtube you will quickly realize how much a pain it is to access the DIMM slots or the hard drive.
