I bought this for my wife and she is very happy with the purchase. The screen size and resolution are great for what she needs. She has noticed that it does tend to lag a little bit but for the purpose of what she is using it for, she's happy with it.

I own a DJ entertainment business and didn't want to spend a ton of money on a new laptop. I was so relieved when I found this HP. It has worked wonders.

So far this seems to be a pretty good unit for the price and it fills the need I had for a laptop.

I bought this Laptop as soon as I got out of Boot-Camp for around $167 I believe. It comes with around 450 GB of Space, Laptops always say 500 but they take away from preloaded software and a Storage Backup which to my surprise it already had made. Windows 10 Is by far amazing, it literally sets itself up and is easy to use. A mix between Windows 7 and 8. Although the battery life is only around 4 Hours with around 3.50 of RAM I say this Laptop is a must.

The reason I went with this one over the others is that it had an easy access panel on the bottom for the memory the wireless card which made it easy to add more ram right off the bat. I threw another 4gb stick in so now it has 8gb, I also upgraded the wireless card to dual band with bluetooth because it came with single band with no bluetooth. I've seen online that you can add up to 16gb in this laptop but I haven't tried that because I don't see a need for it in this for my purposes. The screen is really good, fan is quiet, keyboard is really nice to type on, touchpad actually works fairly well unlike some other laptops and has dedicated click buttons which I like. The webcam I believe is only VGA if I remember so the webcam is not the greatest but I never use it anyways. It has 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 2.0 port and an SD card reader which is awesome. Has an internal dvd burner which is a little harder to come by nowadays. I also replaced the hard drive with a Seagate solid state hybrid drive to make it boot up and run a little faster because I'm used to using a solid state on my desktop. The hard drive was not quite as easy to get to, had to take all the screws out of the bottom, take the keyboard out and lift the top cover off to get to the hard drive, very tricky if you've never done it before so be careful if you attempt, look at the service manual from hp before you attempt this. Also the battery is removable which is another rare thing these days, a lot of them are internal and a pain to replace. The laptop has an AMD A6-5200 which is actually very snappy, I was surprised how snappy it was being a lower level AMD but it performs well. With all other AMDs it does run a bit warm if you're doing quite a bit on it so make sure to keep the fan vent clear and clean (every couple months it should be blown out). Speaker get very loud so that was nice as well. The only thing on this guy that's not very good is the battery life, I use battery bar to track my battery life statistics and I average about 2 1/2 hours of battery life out of this, and that's with usually fairly high brightness and actually using it quite a bit so it'll depend on your screen brightness and what you're all doing on it. Overall excellent laptop for the money, can't go wrong.

This laptop came preinstalled with Windows 10 (which is a vast improvement from 8.1) and was very affordable. Functions well and doesnt really come with any bells or whistles. But, that is to be expected for the price. BATTERY LIFE is around 3 hours so be careful if you plan on using this for extended periods without the charger. It is slightly slower in performing functions due to the 4GB of ram, but nothing deal breaking. Speakers were decent and overall, this is a great laptop for those on a budget and want something just for work/class/non-gaming/casual use.

Purchased this laptop for use with our 5th graders school work. We home school our children and needed a laptop for running software that we use for Math and Science and also for our children to have access to the Internet for research. The price was good and included everything we needed including the DVD drive, which is getting harder to find especially on lower priced systems. We like HP and have had many HP laptops and desktop systems over the years, all providing long life and meeting our needs at the time. We usually have replaced laptops not because they failed but to take advantage of newer/better technology. If you need a low cost system that is reliable and has Windows 10 (a big plus for us is it was already loaded!) then this is a good choice.

I chose this laptop after some research b/c I didn't want to spend a ton of money, but I still wanted a quality product. While the processor is a little slower than the top of the line and it may not have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive models, it gets the job done. I can surf the web, shop, check email, compose documents for work, connect with drop box and connect to my printer, to print off forms I need clients to complete or have for reference. Screen size is good and I like that it has the separate number pad on the keyboard. Gets the job done for a reasonable price.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter to use and learn on for school. This is a great laptop not the sharpest resolution but it gets the job done. Lots of storage and very light. It's great for the price.

I was hesitant to buy this but I bought at the same time with a bunch of other home theater items so cost became a factor, and I decided to give it a try. I am used to more expensive laptops but have to say I was quite surprised. This has most of the same features, a great picture, and windows 10 already installed. Again, for the money, this is a great computer.

For my needs, it works fine. Windows 10 has been a project, but once you learn where everything is, it's fine. I went from Windows Vista to 10. I mainly use a laptop for emails, research and making online purchases. I do not like the keyboard, but it will have to do for now. It's touchy at times and often sends me to another page for no apparent reason while I'm typing. Keyboard has a cheap feel to it, but I'm not complaining because you get what you pay for and I understood that before making this purchase. I miss my old Dell Vista laptop, but after 7 years it finally hit the dust. I would recommend this to anyone looking for decent laptop, but is unable to spend a lot of money for one. It all depends on your needs.

Im an active gamer and a student, this laptop is alright in running games such as CSGO, League of Legends, Smite, etc etc etc. It works well with a fan though!!! It's light, portable, battery could last longer, but i got it on sale so I can't really complain. Overrall pretty good laptop.

I use this laptop for school, work and my drawing projects. I love how fast it is, the amount of space I have and learning new things that I can do with this. My only problem is that I had to get it repaired after just a few weeks of use. I didn't damage it in any way. Aside from that, I find it amazing.

This computer is great for what I needed. I really wanted a Mac, but couldn't afford it. This one's fine for working on documents, pictures, and everyday use. It's lightweight and easy to carry. I'm really happy with this purchase!

I am truly impressed with the cost of this Laptop. Great amount of memory, great storage space, and includes a cd/dvd drive! A pre-installed Windows 10 is a bonus! Love it! Strong Recommend to everyone!

This laptop is great for doing simple assignments or browsing the web. One issue is that it seems to be losing speed, even though I've only used it for two months. Nevertheless, it does not cost too much comparatively to other laptops, so it is still a bargain.

Screen is nice , battery doesn't last long it seems not much faster then my old xp , windows 10 takes some getting used to , what's up with all the ads

Love how vivid & crisp the screen is! At times it is slow but not always. Windows 10 love couldn't stand working with Windows 8 & refused to buy one with 8! Can't complain for price
