I am a previous HP user, so I was thrilled with the laptop I got, and with the price. The young man who waited on me was very helpful, and we completed the sale quickly. The fact that I used my Best Buy Credit Card for the purchase also helped (being able to pay over a period of months with no interest). I looked nowhere else first, because I have always depended on Best Buy for computers, printers, laptops, phones, etc.

Needed to replace my old laptop. Because of the IPad, very rarely use anymore... But every now and then need a real PC. This suites my needs just fine, at a very savvy price.

this is an excellent laptop. I paid 279 for it and got a printer for just 20 bucks more. excellent value. runs great has windows 10, virus protection, and I love it. couldn't be happier

I had an hp laptop with pretty much the same schematics excluding windows 10, and my old laptop performed at a much better level. The computer is slow and the internet fails constantly. I know its the laptop because im using my older laptop which runs perfectly. But on the flip side, it wasn't expensive and very affordable.

This PC laptop is ideal for college students. The RAM may need to be increased for graphic programs and such. This product comes with Windows 10 Home edition and is quite stable to say the least. Under safe and moderate usage, you shouldn't have an issue with malware and such. The Webroot and McAfee are trial versions so look into purchasing a full subscription. Webroot is a product of GeekSquad.

I've had my new HP 15,6 Laptop for exactly one month and I'm so glad I selected this product. It was very easy to get started and it's so fast. I love all of the features that this laptop features and, so far, I haven't had any problems at all. I'm love'n my new HP Laptop!!

Bought for my granddaughter starting college. A great plus is that it has a sizable on board hard drive which elevates having to do everything in the cloud, and a DVD reader/writer which so many laptops do not come with anymore.

My only negatives are the cheap feel to the keyboard. The touch pad is actually quite smooth however. The screen has to be viewed straight on and at the correct angle. The battery life is pretty below average. But for the price and the acceptable speed of this laptop to get you familiarized with Win10, I completely recommend it. Oh yeah, and my mom likes it too.

The laptop is light and compact. I also like the fact that it has a cd drive lots of the newer models don't anymore. It is good for browsing the web. The memory is ok wish it had more I also would have liked a touch screen laptop but for the price it is a good deal I would recommend this laptop for a student or for someone that needs it just to browse the web.

I only need a basic computer to take care of my personal items. This computer has done well, was appropriately priced and stores well when not in use.

I bought this computer about a month ago. It's been fine. Much more than I expected for the price. System 10 is great. You really can't go wrong with this buy. This box Best Buy has for typing reviews is silly though. So slow. You do know we can type on our phones right? It only accepts one letter per half second. Feels like the 80s Best Buy. Fail.

This laptop is very simple. It has all the basics that you would need. I am a college student and I needed something light and basic to do my work on! I like everything about it except the fact that the battery life is about 3-4 hours when it says that it should be 8 hours. But other than that this laptop is a great buy you can't go wrong with it!!!

Don't be fooled by the price, especially if you can get this on sale. This reasonably-priced computer has most of the features of one twice the price. It is easy to use, and has enough storage to run many software applications. It's speed is fine. This is a good computer for someone who wants a good deal, but doesn't want to sacrifice features.

This laptop is so fast and handles all my sound mixing software without a hitch. Gaming is smooth and so far the only problem Ive had is the programs I'm running keeping up with it . It has crashed trying to find the right settings for games , but thats just keeping the gaming developers bussy tryiyng to catch up to this HP power house (This computer leaves the latest games in the dust) . By this computer and you will never wish for anything in computing again . Except for maybe better engineered products to run . Again , awesome machine.

a great laptop for the price but also a great laptop at any price it has the power to do 90% of laptops that cost 5 times as much its well put together the CD drive slide out is the week link in the chain if i had to pick it apart looking for something bad to say

I bought this laptop for my son who was begging for a computer. I wanted it to be able to be hard wired but mobile it was a good deal and has many of the features that I found suitable for his needs as a student.

My old laptop had finally shown the blue screen of death so shopping I went.This laptop has Windows 10 already installed so no futzing with that...has so many features I may never get to them all and the built in webcam's picture is sharp and clear,,,,kinda think I hit a jackpot with this purchase
