Very slow I bought this on thanksgiving also it is extremely slow I am tempted to return mine I don't think it is Windows 10 think it is the laptop all by itself very slow ,and already froze on me .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When I got mine home I also found it to be very slow. After looking for possible problems I realized that my wireless router was prehistoric. Once I updated the router it became a different computer. It is now as fast as my high dollar laptop and I am very happy with it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check with your internet provider and ask them to run a check on your line. We have this laptop and we're not having this problem at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Possibly let the computer stay ON OVERNIGHT (especially if you have a lower speed internet connection) so Windows 10 can FULLY update. Unfortunetly, you cannot turn off Windows Update anymore and it might be trying to update which sucks up resources from the user. Boo, Microsoft not the manufacture or Best Buy. Also, Windows 10 will "check for updates" EVERY TIME you turn it on, :-(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would reinstall windows to remove bloatware. New pc's are full junk. After the reinstall remove all the worthless windows software. The best thing to do is to switch to linux.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This worked for me. Try it if you like. No guarantee it will fix everyone's laptop though. Proceed at your own risk. 1. Type "background apps" without the quotation marks into the search box on the task bar. A list of apps that are running in the background will appear. Turn them all off, (previously they had been running and slowing my laptop down). 2. Click the Window in the lower left of the task bar. Click the settings gear icon. Click on the word Wifi on the left of the page. When your network connection appears click on it. Turn on the metered connection under the heading Metered Connection. This fixed my laptop which I have had for a month. I like it, I'm keeping it. However, I will be in the market to replace the 3 cell battery with a 6 cell! Prior to this my home wifi was incredibly slow on this laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YOU HAVE A VERY SLOW CPU ALSO OTHER PROGRAMS ARE LOADED THAT YOU DON"T NEED BUY ONE THAT HAS A I5 OR I7 INTELL PROCESSER.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is always either slow or fast depending on my Wi-Fi at the time. I DO think it is the Windows 10 that gives me what problems I DO have, however. Not sure why, but we don't have much choice anymore. Loved my Windows 7! Miss it...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The laptop maybe so slow because you are taking updates. Like the anniversary creators update or something like that. Try to update it and then factory reset it using the windows settings app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are buying an entry level laptop. What are you expecting a Porsche engine? For a decent entry point you must buy a laptop that has 8gb ram, Intel i5 or i7 chip and most importantly an SSD instead of a SATA HDD. The video card while usually integrated on the motherboard should actually be a separate component made by Nvida or AMD. I have taken numerous 8 year old laptops that are WIndows 7 or 10 compatible an simply added ram and changed the HDD to an SDD and it is a dynamo and even quicker than these entry level laptops. They can be restarted and powered back up in 15 seconds. You get what you paid for.
