Obviously your computer got a virus or the window updates were not fully installed yet. That takes time and it must be turned on to do that task. Or maybe your internet provider or router was having problems. Emailing uses very very little resources. Your problem was not caused by this laptop and BB could have pointed that out to you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Computer is horrible. Extremely slow and kept freezing up immediately after setting up. It took 37 minutes to type and send an 8 sentence email. Received as a gift, and since I personally received/opened it 17 days after it was purchased, I could not return it as it was out of the 14 day return window. Made no difference that I had only opened it that day. Secondly, I then tried to get tech support help from the Best Buy people, since all of the equipment was purchased there, and was informed I would have to purchase a Geek Squad service agreement. (1) Sell damaged equipment, (2) do not give any help to fix problem, (3) charge more money to fix the problem that was a problem right out of the box. Considering they also delivered my brand new kitchen appliances last Thursday, and had to turn right around and take back the damaged microwave and terribly damaged gas range right out of the box, I have to wonder what is going on. Purchased numerous things from Best Buy in past, not happy now.
