• I bought two of these. Yes, they take a little while to start up, like a minute, but we get around that by not shutting them down, just closing them. No, they're not blazing fast, may take a second or four to load, but for the price, that's expected. I set them up so that a lot of apps are not opening and running in the background at start up. Did you load the free Internet Security Software that came with it? I did not because I have read that some of these can really slow down your computer.
