Some do, but possibly more importantly your paying for better build quality. Most budget laptops say they have similar specs but running them side by side will show the difference. If course this isn't always the case so I recommend doing a bit of research first. Never just assume you're getting to shelf based on price alone.

Those others may have more memory, faster CPU, larger hard drive, higher resolution monitor, or any combination of these. It's also possible they are only slightly better. In general, with computers you get what you pay for. Something priced this low is never going to be able to keep up with something double (or more) the cost. Just depends on your planned use. Just simple web browsing and email? This is more than adequate. Remember that this laptop has an AMD processor, which automatically makes it less expensive than an equivalent Intel based laptop.
