- Answer This is an AMD Ryzen 3, not an Intel processor. The performance will be approximately similar to an Intel i3 (slower than i5 or i7).

QuestionWhat has to be done to this computer to make it dual monitor capable?

- Answer If one of the monitors is the built-in display, you simply need to plug the second monitor into the HDMI port. If you need two ADDITIONAL monitors beyond the laptop display, you would have to use a USB adapter (to HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI etc) to give you a second output. If you use a HDMI splitter you can have two monitors, but they will both show the same thing.

- Answer You can probably run Photoshop on this computer, but it performs better with a faster processor (such as Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7, or Intel i5 or i7).

- Answer For Linux you will want to visit the support forums of your Distros of choice. While our computers will run Linux, it is typically up to the community to create open sourced drivers from the components inside. This is because things like the devices you reference are not made by HP but often a top company that specializes in those components. It is up to them to either make a driver or the community to find a work around.
