- Answer Yes, you can do both of those things. The maximum RAM the computer can use is 32 gigabytes, and you can remove the existing SSD and install a 1 terabyte one.

- Answer Hi Mike. The battery life indicated for the 15-dy2093dx is up to 7 hours and 15 minutes (video playback up to 9 hours and 15 minutes). Note that several issues affect battery life - screen brightness, WIFI connection, number of open apps and their demand on the system, etc. This laptop's 3-cell 41 Wh battery supports fast charge - approximately 50% in 45 minutes.

- Answer Thank you for the question. There are substantial differences.. The 15-dy2093dx is presented with Windows 10 Home S Mode. The 15-dw3165st is presented with Windows 10 Home (not S Mode). The 15-dy2093dx does not have an Ethernet (RJ-45) port, the 15-dw3165st does. The 15-dy2093dx has different wireless technology: Realtek RTL8821CE-M 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (1x1) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 combo, vs the 15-dw3165st having Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5 combo (Supporting Gigabit data rate).

- Answer This model does not have an Ethernet port. You would have to use a USB Ethernet adapter. Many of the 17-inch models will have an Ethernet port.

- Answer Unfortuantely, it doesn't have a "dual voltage" power supply, so it won't handle 220 volt power without a device to step the voltage down.

- Answer Thank you for your question! This laptop is not designed to be upgraded in such a way by users. I recommend speaking to an authorized repair professional about your options, as well as HP Support about how this modification might possibly affect your warranty. Two other options would be to use Microsoft 365's 1TB of cloud storage per user, or connect the laptop to a 1TB external SSD via USB - both very easy and affordable solutions!

- Answer No, but you can buy an external DVD/CD player at Best Buy for $25 to $35. That is what I did, the LG model. It was plug-and-play, and worked fine to load the couple of programs I needed to load onto the computer from DVD's.

- Answer The computer can take up to a maximum of 32 gigabytes of RAM. Currently both slots are filled with 4 gigabyte modules, so if you wanted to upgrade the RAM, you'd need to remove the existing RAM and install higher capacity modules.
